IFHHRO - What we do
IFHHRO has adopted four related strategies. The first is to facilitate international collaboration and networking among health and human rights organisations. The second is training staff of health and human rights organisations and committed health professionals in human rights monitoring. The third calls for close collaboration with the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health and the fourth aims at expanding the network to include more Southern partners and build the capacities of existing and new members.
The main type of activities are the organising of conferences and training and networking meetings, and the development of projects aimed at supporting the work of the Special Rapporteur, especially with regards to monitoring the Right to Health.
