Would you like to learn more about the right to health and how it applies to everday situations in health care? Would you like to have up-to-date knowledge on recent developments and discussions in the field of health and human rights?
If you have a medical or legal (health law) background and will be able to devote 4 to 8 hours of your time each month, this might be the perfect volunteering opportunity for you! You will become part of IFHHRO’s pool of students and professionals who will:
- search the internet to find relevant news on health and human rights to be distributed through our newsletter and social media
- write short posts for our newsletter and social media (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
- search for relevant resources (e.g., reports, books, action guides, manuals, and e-learning opportunities) on various health and human rights related topics
- write short articles for our Topics section, explaining why a particular theme is a human rights issue and why health professionals should be concerned about it.
